What's New in this Release

The DataCore Plug-in for VMware vSphere 3.8 includes the following new features and enhancements:

A new option View All Datastores has been added to the Datastores table to display Datastores created outside the SANsymphony environment. Enabling this option disables the checkboxes to select all Datastores and non-SANsymphony Datastores.
The "Create New Datastore" workflow has been enhanced to allow unique Datastore Names. A warning message stating "Name already exists" is displayed while creating a new Datastore if the Datastore Name already exists.
The Unserve Virtual Disk feature has been enhanced to display only those hosts that are served to the selected Virtual Disk.
The Use Virtual Disk Template option in the "Create New Datastore" workflow has been updated to display only those templates that do not start with a "VVOL" tag.
A warning message is displayed while creating a new Datastore if the selected Virtual Disk Template has disk pools that do not have Capacity Optimization enabled.
The View All Server Groups and Add Server Group options have been hidden from the context menu.
