Server Configuration

The Server Configuration page provides general status information on the server. You can also set the following:

• Replication buffer location
• Configuration backup location
• Cache settings

To configure server settings:

1. On the Server Details page, click Server Configuration from the Actions menu.

   

2. Under General Settings:
   • Enter the Replication Buffer Location. This is required to set up replication. See Changing Replication Buffers in the DataCore SANsymphony help.
   • Enter the Configuration Backup Location. This is where to store configuration backup information for the server group, which is an action performed at the Manage DataCore Servers level. See Backing Up and Restoring Configuration Files in the DataCore SANsymphony help.

     

3. Under Cache Settings, select the cache method to use, either Use system managed cache size or Set cache size manually. For details, see Changing Cache Size in the DataCore SANsymphony help.

   

4. Click Save to save your changes.
