DataCore VASA Provider Registration
The DataCore Deployment Wizard registers the DataCore VASA Provider automatically to the vCenter server specified during the installation. DataCore VASA Provider can be registered manually also. See Manually Registering DataCore VASA Provider in vCenter for more information.
The registration status can be viewed from the Storage Provider tab. The Storage Provider tab in the vSphere Web Client displays information about the DataCore VASA Provider that is used to provision and manage DataCore SANsymphony storage resources.

To access the Storage Provider:
- In the VMware vSphere Client or Web Client, from the Home tab, click Hosts and Clusters.
- In the Navigator, select the vCenter.
- In the Configure tab, click Storage Providers.
DataCore SANsymphony Provider must be listed as a Storage Provider. The status must be Online.
In case of a High Availability (HA) Pair DataCore VASA Provider installation, two storage providers are listed; where one storage will be in Active status and the other on Standby status.
