Upgrading DataCore SANsymphony

The Upgrade section outlines the process of upgrading DataCore SANsymphony software and components. It includes instructions for preparing the environment, downloading the upgrade package, and performing the upgrade either through the Deployment Wizard or manually. Additional guidance is provided for upgrading related components such as cmdlets, management consoles, and asynchronous replication. Post-upgrade steps are also included to help validate and finalize the upgrade.

Upgrading from Previous Versions

Direct upgrades are supported from DataCore SANsymphony PSP18 or Higher. Refer to the system requirements to know the SANsymphony server operating system compatibility. If you are on a previous version, refer to DataCore FAQ 1660.

With 10.0 PSP17, the latency thresholds have been changed from maximum latency monitoring to average latency monitoring. See Latency Thresholds for more information.
