Prerequisites
The DataCore SANsymphony software package consists of two components: Server and DataCore Management Console (user interface). Complete installations will install both components. Custom installations will install either component. Hardware and software requirements can be different depending on the components installed.
Minimum Hardware Requirements
For complete installations or server only installations:

DataCore SANsymphony Component Software Requirements
Any PC hardware with monitor display resolution of XGA (1024 x 768) or higher, keyboard and mouse (or compatible pointing device).

Software Requirements
Windows Server 2022, 2019, or 2016
Microsoft .NET Framework Redistributable Package. Minimum version: 4.7.2.
Both Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Packages Update 3 or greater (x64 and x86) must be installed on DataCore SANsymphony servers prior to upgrading to 10.0 PSP5 or greater.

Installation and Activation
A product license key is not necessary to install and evaluate DataCore SANsymphony software. However, software activation with a valid product license key is required within 30 days. Failing to activate the software within the trail period will terminate operation when the trial period expires.
Certain software features are disabled or limited in trial mode.
