Installing the DataCore Plug-in

DataCore Plug-in is installed upon running the updated DataCoreRESTSupport-vCenterPlugin-v3.10-15.0.2000.47581.exe installer package.

  • To ensure secure connections between DataCore Plug-in and vCenter, certificates must be set up. This is up to the administrator. The plug-in does not enforce. See Configuration Notes for more details.

  • Installing the DataCore Plug-in on the SANsymphony server host will overwrite the DataCore Web Console (DWC). To use DWC, install the DataCore Plug-in on a separate standalone server. See Configuration Notes for more details.

  • DataCore SANsymphony 10.0 PSP18 or higher is required for vCenterPlugin 3.10.
