DataCore Intelligence Service Installer Issues

If the MSI is not renamed after downloading and extracting the file, the installer may not behave as expected for the DataCore Intelligence Service upgrades as the MSI installers are sensitive to the installer file name.

Workaround:

Ensure that the MSI file name is DataCoreIntelligence.msi before double-clicking it.

DataCore Intelligence Service Not Sending DataCore SANsymphony Messages In Rare Occasions

In rare occasions DataCore Intelligence Service won’t send DataCore SANsymphony messages if the controller moves to another node or if there is a split brain scenario.

Workaround:

Restart the DataCore Intelligence Service on the controller node.

If you are uncertain which node is running the controller, perform a restart of the DataCore Intelligence Service on all nodes.
