Installing the DataCore Windows Integration Kit

The Windows host should always have the most up-to-date “root certificates” (used for verifying signed drivers). If you have any problems installing the DataCore Windows Integration Kit because of unknown or expired digital certificates, download and install the most recent “DigiCert Assured ID Root CA” from here: https://www.digicert.com/kb/digicert-root-certificates.htm.

To install the DataCore Windows Integration Kit:

  1. Copy the DataCore Windows Integration Kit installer locally on each host.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Run the executable directly on the host, or
    • Install it using the Smart Deployment Wizard on one of the DataCore Servers.
