Overview

Ensure that the minimum hardware and software requirements are met before beginning the installation process.

Requirements

Before installing the software:

• Make sure all hardware and software prerequisites are satisfied, including:
  • Microsoft .NET
  • Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable packages (both x64 and x86).
  • All applicable Windows operating system updates and hotfixes.
• Refer to Prerequisites for more details.

DataCore Windows Host Kit Compatibility

• DataCore Windows Integration Kit 4.1.2 or greater is a Windows host prerequisite when using DataCore SANsymphony10.0 PSP20 on the DataCore Server.
• The DataCore Windows Integration Kit must be installed on the Windows hosts before installing or upgrading to DataCore SANsymphony10.0 PSP20 on DataCore Server.  
• For more information on version compatibility between DataCore Windows Integration Kit and DataCore SANsymphony refer to DataCore FAQ 1715.
