SYNOPSIS

Enables the Capacity Optimization feature on the specified server.

SYNTAX

Enable-DcsCapacityOptimization -Server <String> [-LogPhysicalDisk<Object>] -PhysicalDisks< Object[]> [-Raid<Int32>] [-Connection <String>] [-InformationAction <ActionPreference>] [-InformationVariable <String>] [<CommonParameters>]

DESCRIPTION

By supplying a list of unused physical disks that will be used to provide Capacity Optimization storage, the server will then be able to enable Capacity Optimization at the Disk Pool level.

-Server<String>

The Id of the server that the Capacity Optimization feature will be enabled on.

-LogPhysicalDisk<Object>

A PhysicalDiskData object, name or ID that identifies a physical disk. To resolve the disk by name, the name must be unique to the server group, or the specific server must be specified. This may improve performance aspects of using Capacity Optimization.

-PhysicalDisks<Object[]>

One or more PhysicalDiskData objects, names or IDs of unused physical disks that will be dedicated to providing storage for Capacity Optimization.

It indicates the RAID level.
