Manually Adding Replication Privileges to the DcsVasa User

Follow the steps below to manually add Replication Privileges to the DcsVasa user:

1. From the Home menu options displayed at the top in the DataCore Management Console, click Roles. The Create Role option is displayed.
2. In the Name field, enter the role name as “vVol Replication Privileges” and select the Replication Privileges check box from the list below.
3. Click Create. The role is created successfully.
4. After creating the user role, click Users displayed at the top from the Home menu options.
5. Right-click the applicable DcsVasa user and select Assign Roles.
6. Select the newly created role vVol Replication Privileges and click Assign. The role is assigned to the user successfully.
