Changing the dcsvasa User Password

The password needs to be changed on the machine where the DataCore VASA Provider is installed.

Follow the procedure to change the password of the local username dcsavasa:

1. Open the service dcsvasa, go to Properties > Log On and change the password.
2. Restart the service.
3. Check that the DataCore VASA Provider status in vCenter is “online” and that the DataCore VASA Provider datastores are healthy. If there are more nodes in this DataCore VASA Provider group, repeat Step 1 for the next node.
