The host access to a virtual disk through each DataCore Server is reported in the Info tab of the Virtual Disk Details page.
Possible host access states:
o Not allowed – access to the host is purposely being prevented.
o Unknown – The server is stopped and access cannot be determined.
o Disabled – the storage source is disabled and no I/O is allowed. Paths are not visible to the host. (When both storage sources of a mirrored virtual disk are disabled, the virtual disk will have a status of off-line, see below.)
o Offline – the storage source is offline and no reads or writes are allowed, but the path is visible to the host. When both storage sources of a mirrored virtual disk are offline, the virtual disk will have a status of off-line.
o Read Only – the host can read from the storage source, but cannot write to it.
o Read/Write – the host can read and write to the virtual disk through this server. In cases where the local storage source is unavailable in a mirrored virtual disk, the mirror path will be used to write to the up-to-date storage source.
