Physical Disk States

  • The state of physical disks displayed in the DataCore Management Console is as reported by the operating system, with the exception of Removing". Please refer to the operating system documentation for details.
  • The same states apply to DataCore disks.

Possible Physical Disk and DataCore disk States:

Physical Disk state is displayed on the Physical Disk details page under the icon. Physical disk states are also displayed on the Physical Disks tab on DataCore Server, Disk Pool and Fibre Channel port detail pages under the Status column.

  • Failed
  • Failed redundancy (for shared physical disks only)
  • Missing
  • No media
  • Not ready
  • Off-line
  • On-line
  • Unknown
  • Removing - The disk is in the process of being removed.
