- The Task Details page>DataCore Servers tab
Possible states:
- Running: the server is active and virtualization is running.

Write Caching States
The state is displayed in the DataCore Server Details page>Info tab.
Possible states:

- Disabled – the server is in not in write caching mode. All write operations from hosts are written directly to the back-end storage and then acknowledged.
- Unknown – the status is unknown because the server is unable to communicate because the DataCore Executive service (Dcsx.exe) is stopped, the server is down, or there is a network issue.
Server Group States
The state is displayed in:
- The Task Details page and Replication Group Details page under the server group icon

- Available: communication with the server group is established.
- Unavailable: unable to communicate with the server group because the DataCore Executive service (Dcsx.exe) is stopped, the server is down, or there is a network issue.
- Invalid: the server name is wrong.
