Non-Replicated Clone Creation from a Replicated Virtual Machine

Failed to create a non-replicated clone from a replicated virtual machine with the error “Replication group id should not be specified for a non-replication policy”.

This issue occurred due to a vCenter issue. The issue was seen when in the “Clone Existing Virtual Machine” dialog, a “VM Storage Policy” was selected before the datastore.

However, when a datastore was selected before selecting the “VM Storage Policy”, the clone was created successfully.
