Enhancements in DataCore SANsymphony 10.0 PSP21 - Preview 1
Added Pool Type ‘Generic Proxmox’ to Pool Creation Templates
SANsymphony pool creation templates now include a recommended SAU size for general-purpose Proxmox (PVE) workloads, simplifying pool setup and ensuring optimal performance.
Template Threshold Visibility
You can now view and configure template thresholds directly during the virtual disk template creation process. This provides better visibility and control over template threshold settings from the initial setup stage.
Faster Virtual Disk Move Workflow
The virtual disk move operation has been redesigned to operate faster and reduce move completion times.
Enhanced Double Failure Recovery Support
Daily HAminidump backups now enrich support bundles with additional information for the support team, helping them assist with the "force online" recovery option during power-related double failures. This improvement allows DataCore support to respond faster, may reduce downtime by avoiding manual split/test/remirror procedures, and accelerates recovery in critical scenarios.
Server Time Synchronization Monitoring
Automated time synchronization reporting has been added to assist with critical double failure recovery decisions. Servers now report exact timestamps to the controller (every 24 hours or during bundle collection), enabling customer support to quickly identify time differences between servers. This reduces production downtime by accelerating the determination of which server holds valid data during severity 1 incidents.
3-Way Mirroring
This enhancement resolved remaining issues, defects, and limitations in the 3-Way Mirroring implementation, improving stability, reliability, and overall performance.
